Whoever made up the myth about 'dry heat' being somehow better than any other kind of heat... should have their head examined.
It is STINKIN' HOT in the desert!!!
p.s. We're in Vegas... will be trying our luck out on the 'Strip' tonight... we'll see how far my $5.00 goes!

Having lived in various desert climates in my life, I can definitely say that dry heat is no better than humid heat.
The dry heat feels like someone is blowing a hair dryer (on high) at your face.
That describes it EXACTLY!
